Trainer

Duties:

  • Developed and delivered workshops to young people around consent, cse awareness, health relationships, agency and victimology
  • Delivered workshops to professionals at a range of conferences promoting the boys 2 workbook and best practice on working with boys and young men who are victims of Child Sexual Exploitation
  • Reviewing the Boys 2 workbook to increase usage across a range of professional disciplines and settings

Day Provision & IYP – Youth Worker

Duties:

  • Provided one to one support to young people with young people who required additional support to engage in group settings
  • Developed a gaming group, bringing together otherwise isolated young people together
  • Carried out a workshop on choices and relationships, which highlighted the need to raise awareness that disabled young people have a choice as many other matters in their lives this is taken away from them
  • developed a basic monitoring system for tracking goals of young people

  • Advocating on the behalf of young residents to a number of agencies
  • Carrying out resident welfare checks

Duties:

  • Improved upon already existing Health & Safety policy and procedure and made sure it was implemented

  • Assisted in the facilitation of Sprout Editorial Meetings
  • Edited submitted articles from young people to TheSprout.co.uk to further provide information and guidance, whilst trying to connect agencies to assist the young person if applicable.
